Masters of the Universe (1987)

Masters of the Universe (1987) is a fantasy action film directed by Gary Goddard, based on the popular toy line and animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The film stars Dolph Lundgren as He-Man, the heroic warrior from the planet Eternia, and Frank Langella as the menacing villain, Skeletor.
The story follows He-Man as he battles Skeletor, who seeks to conquer Eternia and gain control of Castle Grayskull, the source of great power. After a fierce battle, He-Man and his allies— including Man-At-Arms (Jon Cypher), Teela (Chelsea Field), and Orko (voiced by John Cypher)—find themselves transported to Earth through a mystical key.
On Earth, they must team up with a young couple, Julie (Courteney Cox) and Kevin (Robert Duncan McNeill), to return to Eternia and stop Skeletor from achieving his evil goals.
Despite its campy tone and mixed reviews upon release, Masters of the Universe has gained a cult following over the years, appreciated for its special effects, costumes, and nostalgic connection to the franchise.

The film blends adventure, fantasy, and science fiction elements, making it a memorable part of 1980s pop culture.
