Silver Bullet (1985)

Silver Bullet (1985) is a horror thriller based on Stephen King’s novella Cycle of the Werewolf. Set in a small town plagued by a series of gruesome murders, the story follows 11-year-old Marty Coslaw (Corey Haim), a young boy who uses a wheelchair, and his older sister, Jane (Megan Follows).
Marty suspects that the mysterious deaths might be the work of a werewolf, but no one in town believes him due to the lack of evidence and the shocking nature of his theory.
One night, Marty encounters the creature and narrowly escapes with his life, confirming his suspicions.
He enlists the help of Jane and their eccentric Uncle Red (Gary Busey) to track down and stop the werewolf before it kills again. The trio sets a trap, eventually leading to a climactic showdown on a full-moon night, where they confront the deadly creature in a fight for survival.
Silver Bullet combines horror with a coming-of-age story, exploring themes of bravery, family loyalty, and the resilience of a young boy against a supernatural threat.
