THE LODGE (2019)
The Lodge (2019) is a psychological horror-thriller directed by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala. The film centers around a woman named Grace (played by Riley Keough), who becomes the fiancée of Richard (Richard Armitage) after his wife’s death. Richard has two children, Aidan (Jaeden Martell) and Mia (Lia McHugh), from his previous marriage.
The family decides to spend Christmas in a remote, snow-covered lodge, where Grace, still grieving the loss of her own family, is trying to bond with the children. However, things take a terrifying turn when Richard is forced to leave due to a work emergency, leaving Grace and the children alone in the isolated lodge.
As they settle into the lodge, strange and unsettling events begin to occur, and Grace starts to experience disturbing visions.
