The Descent (2005)
The Descent (2005) follows a group of six women who embark on a caving expedition in the remote Appalachian Mountains. Led by thrill-seeker Juno, the team includes Sarah, who is struggling with the trauma of losing her husband and daughter in a car accident a year earlier.
As the group ventures deeper into the cave, they become trapped after a rock collapse blocks their exit. Tensions rise as they discover they are not alone; the cave is inhabited by terrifying, flesh-eating creatures that hunt by sound.
