AQUAMAN 3 (2025)

Aquaman 3 (2025) reunites Jason Momoa, Willem Dafoe, and Nicole Kidman in the continuation of the epic story of Arthur Curry, better known as Aquaman. Following Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023), this third installment dives deeper into the expansive underwater worlds of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).
Produced by DC Films, The Safran Company, and Atomic Monster Productions, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, Aquaman 3 promises to explore new realms and threats beneath the ocean’s surface.
Director James Wan returns to helm the film, working from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who has crafted a story that builds upon the intricate world introduced in the previous films.
Jason Momoa leads as Arthur Curry / Aquaman, joined by returning cast members Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
Momoa had initially pitched ideas for an Aquaman sequel during the production of the first film, though Wan chose to take time to develop the sequel carefully.
Wan officially signed on as director in 2020, aiming to further expand Aquaman’s universe and deepen the character’s story while immersing audiences in new and mysterious underwater territories.
