Predators (2010)

“Predators” (2010) is a science fiction action film directed by Nimród Antal, serving as a standalone sequel in the “Predator” franchise. The film stars Adrien Brody, Alice Braga, Topher Grace, and Laurence Fishburne.
The story follows a group of elite warriors and criminals who find themselves mysteriously transported to an unfamiliar jungle. As they navigate the hostile environment, they soon realize that they have been brought to an alien planet by a race of extraterrestrial hunters known as Predators. These skilled and deadly hunters have chosen them as prey for their ritualistic hunt.
The group, which includes a mercenary (Adrien Brody), a sniper (Alice Braga), a drug cartel enforcer (Danny Trejo), and a Russian soldier (Oleg Taktarov), among others, must work together to survive. They face not only the Predators but also the planet’s dangerous wildlife and their own inner conflicts.

Along the way, they encounter a survivor (Laurence Fishburne) who has been hiding from the Predators for years, offering them both hope and a stark warning.
“Predators” is known for returning to the intense, survival-based action that made the original “Predator” (1987) a classic.
The film is praised for its suspenseful atmosphere, strong performances, and homage to the original while introducing new elements to the franchise. It stands out for its gritty tone and the exploration of the hunter-versus-hunted dynamic on a larger, more terrifying scale.
