Friends Reunited – Full Trailer (2025) ‘The One With Chandler’s Funeral’

The storyline unfolds with a poignant revelation: Chandler Bing has passed away, leaving his friends and loved ones grappling with the profound impact of his absence. The trailer masterfully weaves together moments of laughter and tears as the group reminisces about their shared adventures, highlighting Chandler’s irreverent wit and unwavering loyalty that endeared him to fans worldwide.

The trailer opens with a melancholic piano melody, setting a somber tone as the iconic Central Perk café comes into view, bathed in the warm glow of early morning sunlight. The camera pans slowly across familiar faces – Ross (David Schwimmer), Monica (Courteney Cox), Joey (Matt LeBlanc), Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), and a visibly aged but still charming Chandler (Matthew Perry).

Naturally, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc will be the main stars of the Friends Reunited Movie. Co-creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman are also anticipated to make appearances. The five actors who represent the film’s titular friends should undoubtedly be the main attraction, but Friends also had a ton of entertaining recurring characters and guest stars, which made the show even better.

The Friends Reunited Movie will of course be headlined by cast members Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc, with appearances also expected by co-creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman. Playing the titular friends, those five actors should obviously be the focus of the movie, but at the same time, another great part of Friends was its well of hilarious recurring players and guest stars.

As of now, Warner Media has yet to announce a release date for the Friends Reunited Movie on Max. If the plan to tape the show finally holds to Nov 2024 though, there’s absolutely no reason fans shouldn’t expect to see it materialize to stream by summer 2025 at the latest. Considering the original plan was to release the movie sometime in summer 2025, one assumes Warner Media wouldn’t feel the need to waste any time hemming and hawing over a release schedule, and will probably put it out there at the earliest opportunity.
