Wyrmwood: Apocalypse (2022) is an Australian post-apocalyptic action horror film and a sequel to Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead (2014). The story takes place in a world overrun by zombies, which are transformed by a mysterious substance that makes them more dangerous and intelligent.

The protagonist, Rhys, is a soldier who works for a brutal military regime that is attempting to control the chaos caused by the zombie outbreak. The military has developed a twisted plan to use the zombies for their own gain, experimenting with the infected to create super-soldiers.
