Iron Sky: The Coming Race (2019) is a sci-fi action comedy and the sequel to Iron Sky (2012). Set in the year 2047, the film follows a group of survivors who live on the moon’s dark side after the Earth was devastated by nuclear war.
The survivors, led by Renate Richter (played by Lara Rossi), discover a hidden underground civilization that has been controlled by a group of ancient reptilian shapeshifters. These beings, known as the Vril, possess immense power and have a plan to manipulate humanity for their own purposes.
In a quest for survival, Renate and her group must confront the Vril and stop them from unleashing a powerful weapon that could destroy what’s left of the world. As they fight against the reptilian overlords, they uncover secrets about the origins of both the Vril and humanity, culminating in a high-stakes battle that could reshape the fate of Earth and the moon.
