Season of the Witch (2011) is a dark fantasy action-adventure film directed by Dominic Sena, set in the medieval period during the Black Plague. The movie stars Nicolas Cage as Behmen, a disillusioned knight who, after years of fighting in the Crusades, returns to a Europe ravaged by the deadly plague.
