NARNIA 4: The Silver Chair (2025)

Eustace Scrubb, now transformed after his adventures in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, reunites with his classmate Jill Pole at their dismal school, Experiment House. Jill, tormented by bullies, seeks refuge, and Eustace shares his tales of Narnia, cautioning that speaking of such things might invite more trouble. As bullies close in, they call upon Aslan for help and stumble through a hidden gate that whisks them away to Aslan’s Country.

Near a towering cliff, Jill’s attempt to impress goes awry when Eustace falls over the edge. Aslan intervenes, sending Eustace safely to Narnia on a magical wind. Aslan tasks Jill with helping Eustace locate Prince Rilian, the long-lost son of King Caspian X, and provides her with four crucial Signs to guide them.

Blown into Narnia, Jill reunites with Eustace near a grand castle, where they witness an elderly King Caspian sailing away—marking their first missed Sign. Though only a year has passed for Eustace, seventy years have elapsed in Narnia, and Caspian’s journey is rumored to be a final quest to seek Aslan’s wisdom.

At Cair Paravel, the aged and deaf Lord Regent Trumpkin offers them lodging. Glimfeather the Owl soon reveals the tragic story of Prince Rilian, who vanished while hunting the serpent responsible for his mother’s death. Guided by Puddleglum, a pessimistic yet loyal Marsh-wiggle, the trio ventures into the treacherous northern lands. Harsh weather tests their resolve until they encounter the enchanting Lady of the Green Kirtle and her silent, armored companion. She tempts them with promises of warmth and hospitality at Harfang, home of the “Gentle Giants.” Despite Puddleglum’s warnings, Jill and Eustace eagerly accept.
Their relief turns to horror upon discovering they are the main course for Harfang’s Autumn Feast. Escaping narrowly, they decipher the third Sign—“Under Me”—engraved beneath their path. Taking shelter beneath the ruins of an ancient city, they tumble into the depths of Underland, plunging into darkness and peril.
Narnia 4: The Silver Chair (2025) promises an epic journey filled with danger, loyalty, and the timeless battle between good and evil, bringing C.S. Lewis’s beloved tale to life like never before.
