NEW STORYLINE – “THE NEW ORDER”:
The year is 2031.
Ten years after the events in New York, the world has not recovered — it has changed forever. The Krippin virus has not been destroyed. It has evolved.

In the shadows, the Darkseekers have become an organized force. No longer the mindless, bloodthirsty creatures they are, they now have intelligence, rules, and a clear goal: to eliminate the rest of humanity.
When a group of survivors in the west discovers a strange signal coming from the New York dead zone — a distorted but familiar voice:
“I am alive… and I have answers.”

They can’t believe it: Dr. Robert Neville (Will Smith) — who was thought to be dead — is alive. But he is no longer fully human. He is the first hybrid – half human, half Darkseeker, thanks to the last serum he created.

Neville has spent a decade studying the evolution of the virus, and he discovers a horrifying truth:
The Darkseekers are not just evolving… They are preparing to give birth to a new species – “The New Order”.
A NEW WAR BEGINS:
Along with Elijah Cross (Michael B. Jordan) – a former special forces agent, and Dr. Maren Vale (Florence Pugh) – a former government scientist, Neville must lead a suicide squad into the heart of “Dark City” – where old New York used to be – to destroy the biological core that will be the breeding ground for the next generation of Darkseekers.

But the deeper Neville gets into the world of the Darkseekers, the more he realizes:
They’re trying to live… just like humans once did.
And he – the product of their hybridization – could be the bridge… or the one that kills both species.
