Elon Musk Shocks the World: Tesla’s 2025 Model Y Unveils Its Most Insane Deal Yet—Under $30,123!

Tesla has officially launched the facelifted Model Y in the UK, bringing enhanced efficiency, competitive pricing, and multiple trim options. The base Rear-Wheel Drive model starts at £44,990, offering an impressive 311-mile range with a 275bhp single motor, accelerating from 0-60mph in 5.6 seconds.

For those seeking extended range, the Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive version costs £48,990, increasing range to 387 miles while boosting power to 304bhp, shaving the 0-60mph time to 5.4 seconds. Meanwhile, the Long Range All-Wheel Drive variant adds a second motor for 370bhp, cutting acceleration to 4.8 seconds, though its range drops slightly by 23 miles compared to the RWD model.

At the top end, the Launch Series—priced at £60,990—is based on the Long Range AWD but features Tesla’s exclusive Acceleration Boost mode, reducing 0-60mph to just 4.1 seconds. It also includes a premium synthetic suede interior, unique badging, and puddle lights for added exclusivity.

Deliveries begin in June, following the earlier arrival of the Launch Series. However, Tesla has no plans to bring back the seven-seat option, despite its UK popularity.

Codenamed Project Juniper, this refreshed Model Y introduces key improvements in efficiency, refinement, and quality, ensuring it remains a strong competitor in the booming EV market. Notably, it reinstates traditional indicator stalks, unlike the updated Model 3, which integrates them into the steering wheel. As Tesla faces growing global competition, the updated Model Y continues to stand out as a leading choice in the electric SUV segment.
