Set in 1994, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts follows ex-military electronics expert Noah Diaz (Anthony Ramos) and museum intern Elena Wallace (Dominique Fishback) as they become entangled in a battle to protect Earth from the planet-devouring Unicron. The key to Unicron’s plan is the Transwarp Key, an ancient artifact capable of opening portals through time and space. The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, and the Maximals, led by Optimus Primal, join forces to prevent the Terrorcons, commanded by Scourge, from obtaining the key.

As the story unfolds, Noah and Elena assist the Autobots and Maximals in locating the two halves of the Transwarp Key, which have been hidden to keep them out of Unicron’s reach. Their journey takes them from Brooklyn to the jungles of Peru, where they confront various challenges and forge alliances.

The climax features a massive battle where the heroes strive to prevent Unicron’s arrival, culminating in a sacrificial act by Optimus Prime to destroy the key and save Earth.

The film concludes with Noah being approached by a secret government organization, hinting at a crossover with the G.I. Joe universe.

Directed by Steven Caple Jr., the movie blends action-packed sequences with new characters and settings, expanding the Transformers universe. Despite its high-octane action and visual effects, the film received mixed reviews, with some critics praising its entertainment value while others noted shortcomings in its narrative depth.
