The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus stands as a brilliant example of classical Greek architecture and artistic achievement.
Built in the 4th century BCE, it is renowned for its remarkable acoustics, where even the softest sounds from the stage can be clearly heard in the highest tiers of seating.
Designed to host performances of Greek tragedies and comedies, the theater could accommodate around 14,000 spectators and was an integral part of the religious sanctuary of Asclepius.
