Hundreds of 7,000-year-old stone circles discovered in Saudi Arabia

Archaeologists in Saudi Arabia have uncovered eight ancient standing stone circles, estimated to be around 7,000 years old, which were likely used as dwellings.
This remarkable discovery was made in the Harrat ‘Uwayrid lava field, located near the historic city of AlUla in northwestern Saudi Arabia.
These circular stone structures provide valuable insight into Neolithic life in the Arabian Peninsula, suggesting that early inhabitants of the region adapted to the volcanic landscape and constructed semi-permanent homes.
