After nearly a decade, the “Battleship” series returns with a surprising second part – The Final Battle. The film continues the war between humanity and alien forces on a larger scale, with more advanced weapons, and deeper emotions. 
The story revolves around Commander Alex Hopper (Taylor Kitsch returns to the role), who leads an international naval force against a new invasion from an alien planet. This time, not only the sea, but the sky also becomes a fiery battlefield. 
Strengths of the film:The naval and space battles are staged beautifully, with shocking sounds.
The script is profound, exploiting the spirit of solidarity, sacrifice and faith in humanity.
The characters are better developed than the previous part, especially the new female commander – strong and inspiring.
