11 REBELS (2024) – When you have nothing left to lose… you become the most dangerous thing on the battlefield.

Directed by Kazuya Shiraishi, 11 Rebels takes us to the brutal heart of the 1868 Boshin War, in the final throes of the Japanese shogunate. In a Japan torn by change, eleven condemned men receive an impossible offer: defend a Shibata Domain fortress in exchange for their freedom. What they don’t know… is that they have been chosen to die.

Led by Takayuki Yamada as Masa—a man destroyed by the violence surrounding him—the group includes a priest with a bloody past, an arsonist thirsty for justice, and a killer on the brink of madness. Each with their own demons, each with their own reason to fight… or burn.

With intense combat choreography, stunning cinematography, and a fierce critique of the feudal system, 11 Rebels isn’t just a samurai film: it’s a cry of rebellion.
