A year after stepping into the spotlight, when fame is no longer everything, Solène (Anne Hathaway), now a free and determined woman, begins writing a travelogue about her journey to be true to herself after what happened to Hayes. Meanwhile, Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine) leaves the band August Moon, embarks on a solo career, and… disappears from social media.

By chance in France, Solène and Hayes reunite; they are no longer exes, but they still have old feelings. However, now they no longer hide behind the labels of “idols” or “single mothers,” but are two adults going through trauma together.
