Ramesses II—also known as Ramesses the Great—was the third pharaoh of Egypt’s 19th Dynasty, reigning from 1279 to 1213 BCE.

His 66-year rule was marked by military campaigns against the Hittites and Libyans, vast construction projects, and the creation of numerous colossal statues that cemented his image as a divine ruler.

This statue depicts the pharaoh alongside the deities Amun and Mut, reflecting his close association with Egypt’s state religion and its gods.
