101 Dalmatians (1996) is a live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated classic, based on the novel by Dodie Smith. Directed by Stephen Herek, the film combines comedy, adventure, and heartwarming moments as it tells the story of the iconic dalmatian puppies.
The story follows Pongo (voiced by Jim Dear) and Perdita (voiced by Anita Radcliffe), two dalmatian parents living in London. When their puppies are kidnapped by the villainous Cruella de Vil (played by Glenn Close), who plans to use their fur to make a coat, Pongo and Perdita embark on a daring rescue mission.
With the help of other animals and their owners, the dalmatian couple navigates the challenges of the city and the treacherous schemes of Cruella, leading to an epic showdown in her lair.
