Director Chris McKay has provided an update on “The Tomorrow War 2,” following the success of the first film on Prime Video. Despite mixed reviews, the original film broke streaming records and became Prime Video’s most-watched film, sparking discussions about a sequel.

McKay confirmed that a script is in the works, with writer Zach Dean returning. The sequel aims to expand the world of time travel and explore the origin of the alien species, the White Spikes.
