Outcast (2010)

Outcast (2010) is a horror-thriller that follows Mary (Kate Dickie) and her son, Fergal (Niall Bruton), who are on the run and hiding from a powerful and dangerous man named Cathal (James Nesbitt).
As they settle in an urban housing estate, Mary uses ancient magic to protect Fergal from Cathal, who is a member of a mysterious, violent cult with supernatural powers and is determined to kill Fergal due to a prophecy foretelling his role in a dark fate.
As Cathal closes in on them, a terrifying creature begins to stalk the estate, killing residents and raising tensions. Fergal also develops a romantic relationship with a local girl, adding to the story’s suspense and emotional depth.
The film combines elements of horror, folklore, and fantasy, exploring themes of destiny, family, and survival against dark supernatural forces.
