Tremors (1990)

Tremors is a cult classic monster horror-comedy film set in the small desert town of Perfection, Nevada. The story follows two handymen, Val (Kevin Bacon) and Earl (Fred Ward), who discover that the town is being terrorized by gigantic, underground creatures called Graboids. These deadly worms, which sense vibrations, are capable of tunneling through the earth and attacking anyone who makes noise or moves above them.
As the Graboids start to attack and kill the townspeople, Val and Earl, along with a small group of survivors, including a seismologist named Rhonda (Finn Carter) and the local shop owners, must figure out how to survive. They soon realize that the creatures are attracted to movement, and they must find a way to outsmart them and escape before they’re all killed.
Blending suspense, humor, and action, Tremors becomes a battle for survival against the predatory creatures, with the residents of Perfection fighting for their lives in a high-stakes, offbeat adventure. The film is known for its memorable characters, thrilling monster encounters, and a perfect mix of horror and comedy.
