Eragon (2006) is a fantasy adventure film based on the first book in the Inheritance Cycle series by Christopher Paolini.

The story follows a young farm boy named Eragon who discovers a mysterious blue stone in the mountains. The stone turns out to be a dragon egg, and when it hatches, Eragon finds himself bonded with a dragon named Saphira.
