G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013), directed by Jon M. Chu, is the sequel to the 2009 film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. They learn that the Zartan (Arnold Vosloo), a master of disguise and a former enemy, has taken over the White House and is posing as President Zartan. This sets off a chain of events where the G.I. Joe team must not only clear their names but also stop a global catastrophe.
The plot thickens as the Joes discover that their enemies, including Cobra Commander (Luke Bracey) and the Cobra organization, are plotting to use advanced technology to unleash chaos worldwide. In response, the Joes seek help from the original G.I. Joe, General Joseph Colton (Bruce Willis), who aids them in their quest to stop Cobra’s sinister plans.
As the action unfolds, the film features intense combat scenes, elaborate fight choreography, and impressive set pieces, including a high-altitude raid and a spectacular sequence involving ninjas on mountains.
