Resident Evil Retribution (2012)
Resident Evil: Retribution (2012) is the fifth installment in the Resident Evil film series, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. The movie picks up right after the events of the previous film, with Alice (played by Milla Jovovich) captured by the Umbrella Corporation. She wakes up in a high-tech facility, a sprawling underwater complex, where she is imprisoned and subjected to experiments.
Inside the facility, Alice learns that Umbrella has been conducting experiments that create simulated environments, including replicas of major cities like Tokyo, New York, and Moscow, all infected by the T-Virus. Alice must navigate these environments, fighting off both zombies and various monstrous creatures while uncovering secrets about her past and Umbrella’s ongoing plans.
Alongside a group of survivors, Alice battles to escape the facility, where she faces off against the corporation’s deadly forces, including a new clone of her former friend, Jill Valentine (played by Sienna Guillory), now under Umbrella’s control.
The film is filled with intense action sequences, high-stakes battles, and twists, all leading to Alice’s continuing fight to survive and defeat the evil corporation that threatens humanity.
Resident Evil: Retribution is an action-packed chapter in the saga, combining horror, science fiction, and martial arts in a futuristic setting.
