Space Jam 3 (2026)
Space Jam 3 (2026) delivers a high-flying, star-studded sequel that takes the beloved franchise to new heights with a blend of animated mayhem and live-action basketball action. Directed by Malcolm D. Lee, this third installment brings together the iconic Looney Tunes characters and an exciting new NBA superstar for a fast-paced, heartwarming, and visually stunning adventure. With a plot that blends intergalactic sports competition with themes of friendship and self-discovery, Space Jam 3 brings fresh energy to the franchise while staying true to the zany spirit that fans love.
In Space Jam 3, the Looney Tunes are once again thrust into the wild world of basketball, but this time, the stakes are even higher. After the events of the previous films, the Tune Squad is disbanded, and the characters are living out their usual comedic hijinks in the world of cartoons. However, their peace is disrupted when an alien race known as the “Kozmos” arrives on Earth, challenging the Tune Squad to a high-stakes, intergalactic basketball tournament for the fate of the universe. If the Looney Tunes lose, they will be wiped from existence and replaced by a new, more efficient and entertaining group of beings from the Kozmos galaxy.
To help them, the Tunes recruit a new basketball star—Jalen Harris (played by real-life NBA sensation Luka Dončić), a rising superstar known for his flashy moves and relentless work ethic. Jalen, initially skeptical about being part of an animated team, quickly realizes that to win this cosmic tournament, he’ll need to harness his skills and trust the eccentric Looney Tunes characters, who each bring their own unique abilities to the court.
The team is led by Bugs Bunny (voiced by the ever-funny Jeff Bergman), with Daffy Duck, Lola Bunny, and Taz rounding out the roster. The film mixes outrageous animated action with live-action sequences, blending basketball, comedy, and the chaos that only the Looney Tunes can provide. As the tournament progresses, Jalen must also come to terms with his own fears and insecurities, learning valuable lessons about teamwork, leadership, and the true meaning of being a “star.”
