Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York is a 1992 Christmas comedy film and the sequel to the original Home Alone. The movie follows the adventures of Kevin McCallister, a young boy who is accidentally separated from his family during the holiday season.
Kevin McCallister (played by Macaulay Culkin) and his family are preparing for a Christmas vacation to Florida. However, at the airport, Kevin mistakenly boards a flight to New York City instead of joining his family. Armed with his father’s credit card and plenty of resourcefulness, Kevin begins exploring the city, enjoying the luxury of The Plaza Hotel and iconic landmarks like Central Park.
While enjoying his freedom, Kevin encounters Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern), the same bumbling burglars he defeated in the first movie. This time, they are planning to rob a toy store on Christmas Eve. Kevin devises another series of elaborate traps to thwart their plan, using an abandoned townhouse as his battleground.
Throughout his adventure, Kevin meets new friends, including a kindhearted pigeon lady who lives in Central Park and a generous toy store owner. As the story unfolds, Kevin learns important lessons about generosity, family, and the true spirit of Christmas.
Meanwhile, Kevin’s frantic family realizes he is missing and scrambles to find him. Kevin and his mother, Kate (Catherine O’Hara), eventually reunite in a heartwarming moment by the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center.
The film combines humor, action, and heartfelt moments, capturing the magic of the holiday season.
