Months after the heist that left his career and life in shambles, Detective Nick O’Brien (Gerard Butler) is back—but this time, he’s in deep waters. Following a lead from an informant, Nick learns that Donnie Wilson (O’Shea Jackson Jr.) has resurfaced in London, working with a shadowy European crime syndicate led by the enigmatic and ruthless mastermind, Klaus Berg (Mads Mikkelsen). Klaus’s team specializes in robbing high-security vaults, and their next target is a multi-billion-dollar central bank in Paris.

Nick is recruited by Interpol for a joint task force. With his team of gritty enforcers, including the hotheaded “Big John” Merrimen (Pablo Schreiber)—who survived the first film with a score to settle—they track Klaus’s crew across Europe.
