Black Sea (2014)
Black Sea (2014) is a tense submarine thriller directed by Kevin Macdonald, starring Jude Law as Captain Robinson, a seasoned but recently unemployed submarine captain. Desperate for a new opportunity, he assembles a crew of misfit sailors for a dangerous mission: recovering a lost Nazi U-boat rumored to be filled with gold at the bottom of the Black Sea.
As the submarine descends into the treacherous depths, tensions rise among the crew, which consists of both British and Russian members with conflicting interests. Greed, paranoia, and mistrust begin to take hold, turning their mission of fortune into a fight for survival.
