The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) follows four siblings—Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy—who are evacuated to the countryside during World War II. Aslan sacrifices himself for Edmund, who had betrayed his siblings, but ultimately, Aslan is resurrected, symbolizing hope and renewal. The siblings are crowned as kings and queens, but eventually, they return to their world, where they are once again children.
