Black Water (2007)
Black Water is an Australian horror-thriller based on true events. The film follows Grace, her boyfriend Adam, and her younger sister Lee as they embark on a fishing trip in the remote mangrove swamps of Northern Australia. Their peaceful outing turns into a nightmare when their boat is capsized by a large, aggressive crocodile.
Stranded in the water with no way to escape, the group clings to a tree, trying to avoid the lurking predator. As tensions rise and their chances of survival diminish, they must find a way to outsmart the crocodile before it claims them one by one.
The film is praised for its tense atmosphere, realistic approach, and minimal use of CGI, relying on real crocodile footage to heighten the fear.
