The first teaser for Suicide Squad (2025) delivers gritty action, dark humor, and an explosive new mission for Task Force X.

As the camera pans over Belle Reve prison, we see a new lineup of deadly misfits being assembled for another suicidal mission.
Among them is Deadshot (Will Smith), reluctantly returning to the squad in exchange for a deal that could protect his daughter. Joining him is a new wildcard, Scarlet Blaze (Samara Weaving)—a pyrokinetic assassin with a hidden past, whose fiery abilities light up the screen.
The Mission?
The Squad is tasked with infiltrating a heavily fortified black site where a rogue AI weapon has become sentient, posing a catastrophic threat to global security.
The teaser is packed with explosions, chaotic battles, and razor-sharp banter, as Task Force X clashes with high-tech enforcers—all while navigating their own volatile dynamics.
King Shark (Steve Agee) delivers hilarious one-liners, adding a comedic edge.
Harley Quinn’s absence is briefly addressed with a nod to her “retirement” from Waller’s grip.
But the biggest shock comes at the trailer’s climax—as Deadshot comes face-to-face with a lethal android version of himself, created by the rogue AI.
The screen fades to black. The tagline appears:
