Enlil, the storm god from ancient Sumerian civilization – once one of the world’s first primordial gods – returns, bringing with him a legion of forgotten gods. They declare Black Adam an impostor, a blasphemous human who dared to steal the power of the supreme beings. And now, he must pay the price.

As the world descends into chaos, Black Adam is forced to ally with the people he once despised:

Zatanna, the mysterious sorceress who holds the key to sealing the divine power.

Doctor Fate (returning via a parallel timeline).

Amon, Adam’s grandson, who begins to awaken the divine power within.

And a shadow from the future: Superman (or a dark version of him, corrupted by divine magic).
