In a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by monstrous creatures known as Reapers, which have decimated 95% of humanity, the last remnants of civilization cling to life above 8,000 feet—beyond the reach of these terrifying beasts.
Will (Anthony Mackie), a devoted father, lives in a mountain refuge with his young son, who struggles with a respiratory illness. When their oxygen filters begin to run out, Will is forced to descend into the perilous lowlands on a desperate mission to find supplies.
Joined by Nina (Morena Baccarin), a scientist with a plan to fight back, and Katie (Maddie Hasson), a loyal friend of Will’s late wife, the trio embarks on a treacherous journey through a landscape overrun by biomechanical creatures.
