Beetlejuice 2 (2024) is the long-awaited sequel to Tim Burtonβs cult classic Beetlejuice (1988). Directed by Burton, the film brings back Michael Keaton as the mischievous and eccentric ghost Beetlejuice and Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz.
This time, Lydia is now a mother, and her teenage daughter (played by Jenna Ortega) becomes entangled in the supernatural chaos when Beetlejuice resurfaces.
The sequel promises to deliver the same quirky, gothic humor and fantastical visual style that made the original a beloved classic. With new characters and otherworldly antics, Beetlejuice 2 explores fresh paranormal hijinks while maintaining the darkly comedic tone that defined the first film.
Slated for release on September 2024, the film also features returning cast members and newcomers, creating a new generation of ghostly mischief in Burtonβs bizarre and whimsical afterlife.
