Beehive-shaped tombs in Al-Ayn, Oman

The 4,000–5,000-year-old beehive tombs at the Archaeological Sites of Bat, Al-Khutm, and Al-Ayn in Oman represent one of the largest and best-preserved collections of necropolises from the 3rd millennium BCE.

With over 100 tombs discovered to date, these remarkable stone structures offer valuable insight into the burial practices and architectural achievements of early Bronze Age communities in the Arabian Peninsula.
