Black Water: Abyss

Black Water: Abyss (2020) – Terror lurks below.

A group of friends, Eric, Jennifer, Yolanda, Viktor and Cash, decide to explore an unmarked cave in the outback of Queensland, Australia. What starts out as an adventurous expedition is suddenly flooded by heavy rain, leaving the group trapped underground in a dark, flooded and extremely dangerous place.

As they swim through narrow passageways to escape, they find themselves battling not only floodwaters and panic – but also a massive, brutal crocodile, stalking their every move in the darkness. It takes its time. It hunts on instinct. One mistake – and blood will run red.

A tense mix of survival and creature horror, as the characters face their ultimate fears – trapped in darkness, rising floodwaters, and a cold-blooded predator on the prowl. Panic, internal conflict, and secrets are gradually revealed, making the film not just about crocodiles, but also about human nature in despair.

“Black Water: Abyss” is a true survival film – not too complicated, but tense enough to keep you breathless until the very end.
