A statue group consisting of Emperor Trajan and a Dacian 𝘱𝘳π˜ͺ𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘳

Unearthed in the ancient city of Laodicea in present-day TΓΌrkiye, this remarkable statue of Emperor Trajan dates to 113/114 AD.
Originally positioned beside a nymphaeum, it was shattered into over 350 fragments during the devastating earthquake of 494 AD.
Today, after an extraordinary restoration, it is proudly displayed at the Hierapolis Archaeology Museum.
